Aug 31st 2018: "I feel I can bring goals and assists and I’m looking forward to enjoying my football again. Hopefully I can work hard and help the team that way. I played against Steve Clarke's Kilmarnock team last season and I thought they were a difficult side to play against. Playing against them you could tell they were a good side and you could see he was building something here. I had a chat with him last week and I was more than happy to get things over the line. I feel we’ve got a good squad here with a mixture of experience and young boys. There’s a good energy and I don’t see why we can’t go to Pittodrie and get three points."
Dec 30th Steve Clerke on Greg Stewart: "I knew I was getting a talent when we got Greg but I think he’s surpassed himself. He’s been really good for us, we’ve found a good position for him and a good way to play which suits his game. It’s making Greg look good and it’s also helping us – it’s great for both parties. Every single loan deal has a recall option in January. It’s up to Birmingham but they’ve shown no sign that they are going to ask Greg back. His contract is up at the end of the season so I’d imagine a lot of it will come down to what Greg wants to do and I know he’s very happy here."
Jan 11th 2019: Birmingham City have cut short Greg Stewart's loan spell with Killie, with a view to selling the forward this month. The Championship side have asked the 28-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer, to report back next week. Former Dundee attacker Stewart returned north in August and has scored eight goals for Ayrshire's Finest.
Jan 18th 2019: Steve Clarke comments on Stewart signing a new loan deal to play for the Dons ... "I only want to talk about players that want to be here".
