Accomplishments : One Scottish Cup Win, One CIS Cup Runners Up, SPL 4th twice, SPL Fair Play Winners Once. Relegation avoided twice, Europe 4 times in 6 years. Asked to assist with the Scottish National Team in 2001.

First "Return" to Rugby Park : Was beaten 1-0 on April 13th 2002, by a Michel Ngonge goal.

Most Dissapointing Hibs Result : Was thrashed 6-2 on April 5th 2003 by his former charges at Rugby Park

Life After Killie : Took manager of Hibernian FC job Feb 2002..Moved on to Plymouth in 2004, and fired in Sept 2005.
In July 2006, Bobby took the Colchester Utd's managers position.

In late 2008, Bobby was appointed head coach of the Ugandan National team in Africa.

May 2009....“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time in Africa. It represented a completely different challenge, but I’d been out of the game for some time and felt that managing Uganda was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.  I certainly haven’t regretted my decision  I must admit, I was surprised by the standard. The facilities are not great and there is not a lot of money in the game, but the players make the best use of what they’ve got.  They never moan or complain, they just want to play football and learn. The people have been great. They couldn’t have done more to make me feel welcome and at home.  The results have picked up and when you’re winning it helps but the people have been great and the players very responsive to what I’m trying to achieve here. The standard of play is good. I reckon there’s a few players in my team who could certainly do a job in the SPL.  Football is really important in Africa because it brings people together. I’ve definitely benefited from the experience and learned a lot. The players are desperate to learn and to improve and the fans all want you to do well."
